Semi-custom cabinetry is also mass produced by the manufacturer. You do have a bit more flexibility here. You can be specific about the size of the cabinets and choose different finishes, moldings and trim. These cabinets will be installed by the dealer. Custom cabinets are specifically designed, manufactured and installed for you. While you have a larger variety to choose from, the term custom used here is really semi-custom. A true custom cabinet is possible by hiring a skilled cabinet maker. You will have infinite variety at considerable expense.
Stock cabinets are already manufactured as for samples for the customers in standard sizes so that they get an idea about what designs are available and how the stock cabinets look. If we speak about the thickness of the stock cabinets, they are nine inches wide. Height of these cabinets is about thirty to thirty-three inches. These cabinets are built as samples for the customers to have an idea about the stock variety available at the shop. For the manufacturing of these cabinets, plywood and melamine is used. Each part of the cabinet is made accurately and efficiently and when all the pieces are built then they are finally joined together to form a full fledge cabinet. Custom Cabinets Now comes the turn of the custom kitchen cabinets. These cabinets are made according to the customers specifications and requirements.
Why Bathroom Linen Cabinets? Huge homes and apartments have inbuilt storage space for the household items in every room. The bathrooms are well planned and designed to accommodate the toiletries such as soap, towels, comb, linen, and other accessories. If not in the bathroom, a storage rack or shelf is built somewhere in the passage adjoining the toilets or passages leading to the bathroom. But what about smaller apartments and houses where the number of people are more and the space is quite less?
For cabinet backs you will typically see 1/2" thick material, with thicker areas specifically manufactured for mounting screws. The tops will always incorporate a countertop fastening strip at the front and rear of base cabinets, which you wont see in stock cabinets. As far as design and aesthetics go, the only limitations are your imagination and budget. Almost anything is possible because your cabinets will be made specifically just for you. You have complete access to options such as pull-out slides, trash organizers, limitless hardware choices, pantry organizers, and much more. The cabinetmaker will often install these cabinets themselves too, saving you the headache of doing it yourself. While obviously more expensive, you can design and get exactly what you want, instead of settling for what you can find.
